Chancy has a Master of Arts Degree in Theatre and Media for Communication in Development and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education Humanities. He has more than 10 years experience in development and health communication, having worked with the Creative Centre for Community Mobilization (CRECCOM), Management Sciences for Health (MSH) and the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health Center for Communication Programs (JHUŸCCP). Chancy is a founder of the Development Communications Unit and Theatre International, private communication firms operating in Malawi, and was a Commended Nominee in the 2011 University of Queenslands Communication for Social Change Awards.
